CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
A variety of building materials are available, and our preference is for either block with two inches of exterior foam insulation or Insulating Concrete Form (ICF) such as Nudura. This type of construction allows buildings to be built stronger, more energy efficient, more comfortable and environmentally friendly. Nudura provides substantial green building benefits. A performance R Value which is based on energy savings and studies of thermal resistance of an ICF wall shows that an R50 is not at all uncommon.

· 18” Concrete in Foundation – Single floor
· 36” Concrete in Foundation - More than one floor
· 20” Concrete in Footings
· Steel Framing
· Footings with tied steel
· Concrete roof with 6” foam insulation
· Stucco & single color exterior paint
· Electrical Wiring #12 or #14 Romex (except where 220 amp is required)
· Porch Roof – Mexican Tile

CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS (Interior)
· Heating & Cooling Choice of Central Air or Mini-Splits
· White vinyl double glazed windows with screens
· Doors and cabinetry - Pine
· Overhead Garage Door with remote access
· Choice of wet plaster or sheetrock interior walls with single color paint
· Hot water tank – 40 gallon
· Ceramic tile – floor and showers
