SEAWALL PROJECT AT CLUB DE
PESCA
From the moment the call came from the owner that his seawall
had collapsed on September 7th, it was a race against Mother
Nature. Rough water, likely from the hurricane, took it down
and the highest tides of the year were anticipated in and
around September 17th. Our Pérez Construction team
began the 3’ x 3’ x 3’ rock, steel and concrete
footings, the most difficult part of the project. Slowly the
wall rose again to its 15’ height. Work continued for
the next 12 days, with breaks at high tide for other business.
The photos take you through the project from beginning to
end.
The last photo introduces you to Lupe Pérez, Owner
and General Contractor, Pérez Construction, whose expertise
and experience in seawall construction at Pete’s Camp
and other beach communities brought the project to its successful
conclusion.
